What do I have to do for my first payment of rent and deposit?

You, as the tenant, are required to make a payment of your first month’s rent AND deposit by exactly one calendar month before the tenancy begins. (For example, if the tenancy begins on 1st July, then the rent and deposit will need to be received by us on 1st June). We ask that you set up a standing order with your bank (either via online banking or at the branch in person) for this payment. Please ensure that the payment is sent a minimum of 3 days in advance of the due date to cater for weekends/bank holidays and some slow banking processes.

You should’ve sent us evidence that you have set this up by now. If you haven’t done this, or your bank only allows you to set up the payment 30 days before it is due, please diarise to set this up and send over the proof to us via text or email.

If you have set this up online, please take a screenshot of the confirmed standing order and email or text us the photo of the evidence required.

If you have set this up in branch, please ask for a receipt, advice slip or confirmation email that your standing order has been set up. Again, please then take a photo or screenshot of the confirmed standing order and email or text us the photo of the evidence required.
